An apocalypse in Arundel as zombies run amok in woods

HORDES of the “undead” were roaming through woodland near Arundel, as a Littlehampton man filmed the penultimate scenes for his home-made horror movie.

Oliver Hollingdale, of Courtwick Lane, has caused a stir among friends and unsuspecting members of the public with his latest film, Death Toll, which depicts an apocalyptic world, overrun by flesh-eating zombies.

The film, being made on a shoestring budget, has had various scenes recorded in and around Arundel, and sees a band of survivors attempting to escape the carnage of mainland Britain.

Twenty-one-year-old Oliver, who is currently finishing his final year at the University of Brighton, studying moving imagery, said: “I have always been interested in making a film.

“I just thought this would be a fun way to get lots of creative people involved.”
