Angmering home searched in connection with island robbery

Hampshire police were at three addresses in West Sussex on Monday evening (July 6), following a raid on Benzie yachting jewellers in

Cowes on Friday, by men brandishing a hand gun and sledgehammers.

Two windows at the front of the shop were smashed, and about 15 watches were stolen, though no one was hurt.

A 21-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman, both from Worthing, were arrested, in connection with the searches, and transferred into custody on the island.
