Angmering "road rage" shock

A WOMAN was abused in the street in an apparent road rage incident.

It happened in The Square, Angmering, at about 1pm on Friday (October 2), when the woman left her blue Volvo 540 saloon to go to a hairdressers.

She said that two men pulled up in a black BMW series 1, got out and shouted abuse and threats at her.

Sgt Peter Allan, of Littlehampton police, said that the argument could have been instigated by an earlier incident, between the two drivers, near the BMW garage in Water Lane.

"Police are keen to talk to anyone who may have seen the two cars in the village between noon and 1pm," he said.

Anyone with information should call PC Kate Maloney on 0845 60 70 999.
