Angmering’s auction will be packed with treats

FLYING lessons and a signed photo from Strictly Come Dancing host Bruce Forsyth are just some of the tantalising prizes up for grabs at The Angmering School’s latest fund-raising event.

At the end of the month, disabled youngsters from the school’s Lavinia Norfolk Centre will be hosting a special auction to help drum up cash for their trip to the Stoke Mandeville Games, in September.

The much-anticipated event will see the students compete against other disabled young people from across the nation.

As well as the signed photo of Bruce and flying lesson for two, at Shoreham Airport, people will be able to bid for other prizes, including dinner for two at The Lamb at Angmering, worth £50, lunch for two at The House of Commons, and even a cooking lesson with a mystery Michelin star chef at South Lodge, near Horsham.

The auction is on Saturday, May 26, at the school, from 7-10pm. Tickets are £5, which includes a glass of “bubbly” and food.

For tickets, call Mike on 01903 773146 or e-mail [email protected]

Those unable to attend but who would still wish to bid for items can do so by filling in a form on the school’s website.
