An organisation based in Bognor Regis is holding a drop-in centre for young people affected by bullying.

Sussex Against Bullying provides a youth club and holiday project for young people aged between 11 and 18.

During the October half-term week, starting on Monday, the group plans to hold a two-day youth drop-in centre. The drop-in centre will be based at the Bersted Green Learning Centre in Hazel Road.

The drop-in days will include a trip to the bowling alley on Wednesday ( October 24).

Young people have to be referred to the centre by their parents, teachers or another professional. To do this, visit www.sussexab.org.uk/refer-a-young-person

Benjamin Checkley, founder and chairman of Sussex Against Bullying, said: “I would like to thank our trustees Mark Fisher, from TAO Dragon Martial arts academy, Melanie and Jacqui Thornton, who has recently been recruited as our youth project manager, for the work they have done in order to bring the organisation and project forward.

“We look forward to bringing young people together.”
