Appeal after attack

Three men approached the victim and knocked over his motorcycle. They then hit and kicked him around his head and body leaving him badly bruised and in pain.

The victim was taken to the Princess Royal Hospital in Haywards Heath and was kept in overnight.

A spokesman said: 'This was an unprovoked attack which resulted in the victim being viciously beaten by three thugs. Officers are keen to hear from anyone who was in or around the area of Uckfield town centre at the time of this assault.'

Detectives are also keen to hear from anyone who saw three men in the area of the traffic lights at the junction of Church Street with High Street.
