Appeal after Bexhill woman injured in A27 crash

A woman from Bexhill was injured as well as a St Leonards man in a crash on the A27 near Pevensey on Sunday (May 29).

Two vehicles, a silver Ford and a silver Citroen, collided with each other between the Wallsend roundabout and the Dittons Road roundabout at around 5.05pm.

The driver of the Ford, a 24-year-old man from St Leonards, and the driver of the Citroen, a 26-year-old woman from Bexhill, both suffered minor injuries.

A third car, thought to be a black Mercedes, was also involved although it did not collide with any other vehicle.

PC Mark Swift said: “We would like to speak with anyone who saw the collision and in particular the driver of this third vehicle which did not stop at the scene.

“Witnesses can email [email protected] or call 101 quoting reference 1202 of 29/05.”
