Police are appealing for witnesses after a pensioner collided with a mobility scooter in Newhaven.
At about 9.15am on Tuesday (March 3), an 89-year-old man collided with a scooter as he walked on the pavement in Meeching Road, police said.
The pedestrian, from Newhaven, suffered injuries to his legs, arms, back and face and was treated by staff at a health centre in Newhaven, police said.
The 74-year-old woman on the mobility scooter was not injured.
PC Lucy Allen said: “The man was helped to the health centre by two women who were driving past but stopped after seeing that he was hurt.
“I am very keen to speak to them about what they saw and anyone else who was in Meeching Road on Tuesday morning who saw or heard any part of what happened.”
