Sussex Wildlife Trust is appealing for volunteers to help with children visiting its education centre at Seven Sisters Country Park near Seaford.

If you like working with children and are keen to share your enjoyment of the countryside with others then why not consider joining the team.

Regular commitment is appreciated, but this could be as little as one day each month or as often as five days a week during busy periods, with most of the visits scheduled for the summer months.

You don’t have to be an expert but some knowledge or an interest in wildlife is useful.

However, you do need to enjoy being outside, as most of your time will be spent out-of-doors.”

There are visits from primary school children and secondary school students, as well as holiday clubs and family events which need support.

An introductory morning is being held at the Pump Barn, Seven Sisters Country Park on Tuesday February 11, at 10am-12.30pm. To book a place contact volunteer administrator Liz Francis at or call 01273 497562.
