Appeal for witnessses following assault in Worthing

The victim, a 19-year-old man from the Worthing area, was walking along Wallace Avenue when the assault took place at 10.57pm.

It is believed there were several men involved in the assault.

The man suffered a fractured jaw and was admitted to St Richard’s Hospital, in Chichester.

Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to call 101 quoting serial 1588 of 29/3.
