Fun Run: The first Ardingly Fun Run will be held on Sunday, 11th September starting at Ardingly Recreation Ground at 1pm with check in from 11am. The race is a 5 mile course run mostly through countryside tracks and quite roads through the village and taking in the sites of the surrounding area, including Ardingly Reservoir along the way. The race will start and finish at the Recreation Ground, where refreshments and toilets are available. Entry is £5 in advance, plus online fees or £10 on the day (subject to places being available). All finishers will receive a unique medal with winners trophies also being awarded. Children can also join in the fun by entering the 800m run which starts at 12.30pm - entries will be taken on the day with a fee of £1 per child, medals will be presented to all finishers.

So come along and join the fun as in addition to the run the Ardingly Village Fete will be held from 12 noon till 4pm on the Recreation Ground with lots to do and see including a dog show, climbing wall and many stalls. For further information on how to enter the Fun Run in advance see the Facebook page www.facebook.com/events/313515895655423 or pop in and see Phil at Ardingly Post Office in the High Street for a paper copy of the entry form.

Autumn Show: All are welcome to Ardingly Gardening Club’s Autumn Show of flowers and produce on Sunday 11th September from 2 to 4pm at Hapstead Hall.
