Iain Nicol, chief executive of the South of England Agricultural Society, said: “It was wonderful to see so many people enjoying our Winter Fair at the showground and supporting our charity’s work.

“Without them we couldn’t offer the support we do to so many involved in agriculture and other related land-based industries.

“Everyone was truly getting into the festive spirit and it was a great weekend for local families to kick off the Christmas shopping period in style.”

The South of England Agricultural Society’s next event will be Spring Live! which will take place on May 2 and 3.

Tickets and more information will be available from www.seas.org.uk in the new year.
