Armed post office raids - three arrested

Police have arrested three men in connection with two robberies.

Raiders struck twice on Monday.

At the post office in Eastbourne Road, Pevensey Bay, two men wearing balaclavas and carrying hand guns demanded money.

But the pair left the shop empty handed.

Then at about 5.50pm at the Betfred betting shop in Forest Row two men wearing balaclavas, carrying hand guns, stole a small amount of cash.

Three men, aged 21, 27 and 37, from the Tunbridge Wells area, have been arrested in connection with these robberies and are in custody.
