ARRC hold officialopening at new artcentre home in Rye

RYE charity ARRRC has now reloctaed to the School Creative Centre in New Road.

ARRCC had the support of the county council., Rye Hospital, The League of Friends and a local trust providing funding for the substantial refurbishment costs.

Councillor Keith Glazier will open the Centre at 2pm on Wednesday December 5.

Chief Executive Grace O’Neill said: “This has been a challenge for everyone and we have had two years of uncertainty. However, the move to The School has been a great success. Our Members enjoy being a part of the Creative centre.

“There are still improvements to be made and funding to be sought. ARRCC would like to say a bit ‘Thank You’ to everyone who has assisted us to remain in Rye.”

Ian Ross, Director at The School Creative Centre, said: “From its inception the School Creative Centre has provided space and support for individuals and organisations to develop and innovate and am sure that ARRCC will benefit by being a part of this.”

ARRCC will be holding two Open Days on Wednesday December 5 and Thursday 6 from 11am – 3pm with Christmas cakes, chutneys and Christmas goodies for sale.
