Arrest made after man urinates in town’s High Street

A MAN who is suspected of urinating in Littlehampton’s town centre in front of horrified shoppers has been charged with a string of anti-social behaviour offences.

Officers were called to the town at 11.40am on Monday (June 2) following reports of a man urinating in the High Street.

A spokesman for the force has since said that Michael Croft, 57, was arrested and later charged with using threatening or abusive language, assaulting a police officer, using racist language and breaching an antisocial behaviour order.

Croft, of Norfolk Road, Littlehampton, was released on bail to appear at Worthing Magistrates’ Court on July 7.
