Arrests after man '˜stabbed' in Crawley

A man and woman have been arrested on suspicion of GBH after officers found a man '˜stabbed' outside a house.

Sussex Police was called to a stabbing in a property in Ashdown Drive, Tilgate, just after 8.30pm on Thursday (January 21).

A spokesman said: “Outside officers found a 32-year-old man with wounds to his left leg. He was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton, where he was treated and allowed to leave.

“A 27-year-old man an a 24-year-old woman also found at the scene were both arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and are currently in police custody. Enquiries are continuing.”

Witnesses and people with information about the incident were asked to email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or phone 101, quoting serial 1402 of 21/01.
