Arson investigation after Langney van fire

Police and firefighters were called to a van fire in Langney in the early hours of this morning (March 24).

The fire, in a car park near Falmouth Close, was reported to the fire service at around 12.50am.

Crews from Eastbourne tackled the blaze using a hose jet reel and breathing equipment.

Police say they believe the fire had been started deliberately are investigating.

Anyone who has any information or saw anything suspicious is asked to contact police on [email protected] quoting serial 36 of 24/03.
