Art and craft on showat Playden Church

Arts and crafts by local artisans will be on display in St. Michael’s Church, Playden this weekend.

The exhibition will be open from 10.30 am to 5.30pm on Saturday 10; and 12.30 to 5.30pm on Sunday 11. Most of the beautiful work on display will be for sale.

A feature this year is a limited print run of a picture especially created by iconic local artist Richard Adams.

Free entrance, lots of parking. Donations are very welcome. Tea and coffee available.

On the Saturday evening, 7.30pm, local choir Ryesingers perform a concert of words and music on the theme of Water Music. There will be ensemble, solo and instrumental items, including a harpist.

Tickets are £10 to include light refreshments, available from 01424 815 247, at the exhibition or at the door.
