Art contest in Peacehaven to mark a record reign

The mayor of Peacehaven Robert Robertson is inviting entries for the best interpretation of her Majesty the Queen.

On September 9, the Queen will become the longest serving sovereign in British history, breaking the record held for more than a century by her great-great grandmother, Queen Victoria.

Entries could be paintings, drawings, clay models or abstract. The council will try to display every entry in Community House.

The competition is open to adults and children and will be judged in those categories. Prizes will be awarded in October.

Collect your entry form from the Information Office at Community House and send to Deborah Donovan, Peacehaven Town Council, Meridian Centre, Meridian Way, Peacehaven East Sussex. BN10 8BB or
