Art show a success

Thirteen exhibitors from Steyning Art Group displayed their work at the Steyning Centre, Fletcher's Croft, on Saturday and Sunday.

Organisers hailed the exhibition a success. Patricia Gill, one of the members of the group, said: "It was very, very good. We had a big turnout and lots of good feedback.

"People came from Saltdean and Brighton, and a lady came from the Isle of Wight. We even had somebody from Birmingham. It was a great success. The home-made cakes, teas and coffees went down swimmingly. We finished off with a glass of bubbly."
