ST Michael’s Hospice is planning on showing hundreds examples of art work in a big exhibition in June.

And the hospice is appealing to local artists to submit work for the exhibition.

The exhibition runs at the Arthur Easton Centre, St Leonards on June 21 and 22 and will be opened by Radio 2 presenter Alex Lester.

The exhibition, held in memory of Stuart Farndale, has been held at the Hospice for 15 years and is growing in popularity with more artists and visitors each year.

Amanda Hildreth, Community Fundraiser at St Michaels Hospice, said: “The Hospice is delighted to host such a wonderful event which not only exhibits some amazing work from local artists but also raises much needed funds for St Michael’s Hospice”.

Various art platforms are accepted including paintings, sculptures, drawings or illustrations.

All artists are welcome to submit their artwork, maximum of eight items per artist (this includes four framed items at £1.50 per piece and four unframed items at £1 per piece.

Entry to the exhibition is £1 and light refreshments will be available throughout the day.
