ARTIST'S DONATION
LOCAL artist Margaret Corbin has presented a painting of the famous Southover Grange Gardens mulberry tree to Lewes Register Office which is located in the adjoining Elizabethan building of Southover Grange. The presentation was arranged by Cllr Ruth O'Keeffe.
Margaret presented the picture to registrar Pamela Day on Friday and the picture is to be displayed in the marriage room.
More of her watercolours are to be seen in an exhibition organised by the Sussex Watercolour Society at the Jointure Studio in Ditchling. The exhibition is open until Tuesday.
