Artists had much to celebrate
Bognor Regis Art Society were in the celebrating mood on Sunday, not only enjoying the end of another successful year, but also commemorating 60 years as a society.
President Frank Robinson, vice president Meg Parsons and chairman Caroline Ragless were there to make speeches and thanked everyone for contributing to a successful and happy circle of artists.
Crammed into the Beachcroft Hotel were 90 guests, doubling last year's figures. After a delicious lunch, an auction took place of paintings left by visiting artists during the year and the day culminated in a huge raffle.
Each member was given an engraved bone china mug as a memento of the occasion.
