Arun 'had considered' neighbouring properties

Arun District Council planning officer Keith Wheway told councillors, when they debated the new hotel last April, how he felt it would affect the view of the nearest properties.

"This building will be prominent in the street scene. But it is not considered it will have a significant adverse effect on the character of the area. There are other tall buildings within the Butlins complex, including the Skyline Pavilion and the five-storey hotel on the seafront.
