Arun plans include application for 38 homes on caravan site

ALMOST 40 homes could be built on a caravan site at Barnham.

The plans by Banner Homes Central Ltd, for the Lillies Caravan Park in Yapton Road, are among the latest applications submitted to Arun District Council, as follows:

ANGMERING: two-storey extension, with rear balcony, 16 East Drive.

Change of use from sales building to vehicle workshop, including additional MoT facilities/status and new vehicular doorway to the north elevation, Roundstone Car Centre, Mayflower Way.

ARUNDEL: various signage. illuminated and non-illuminated, Lloyds Bank, 14-16 High Street.

Conservatory, 16 Howard Road.

BARNHAM: demolition of six holiday lodges and toilet block, removal of about 30 touring caravans/motorhomes/camping pitches and replace with development of 38 homes, associated garages/car parking, formation of access road and change of use from current C1 (hotels) to C3 (dwelling houses), The Lillies Caravan Park, Yapton Road. This application is a departure from the development plan.

CLIMPING: change of use of garage to annexe, including holiday let, with single-storey extensions (amendments to planning approval CM/11/12), 3 Kents Cottages, Brookpit Lane.

FORD: renewal of unimplemented approval F/4/10 to demolish timber building and construct four-bedroom bungalow-style care facility for adults with learning difficulties, as ancillary accommodation in connection with the main use of the site as a care home, Waterbury House, 8-10 Ford Road.

LITTLEHAMPTON: single-storey side extension to the north elevation and conversion of garage (re-submission of LU/309/12), 17 Esmonde Close.

Rear conservatory, 47 Sussex Street.

Single-storey extension to form part of annexe; rear conservatory; front enclosed porch, covered buggy park and open porch to annexe to front elevation, 17 Northway Road, Wick.

LYMINSTER: change of use from redundant agricultural building to single dwelling (re-submission, following LY/9/12), 6 Calceto Farm.

RUSTINGTON: first-floor side extension, 86 North Lane.

WALBERTON: extensions, The Meads, Barnham Lane.

YAPTON: re-positioning of new automated sliding entrance doors and construction of eight bollards to south/east elevation, The Co-op, Main Road.
