Arundel Food Festival starts this weekend

FOOD enthusiasts from across the land will be descending on Arundel this weekend to celebrate the town’s second annual food festival.

The event, which starts on Saturday, October 15, will be a nine-day bonanza of culinary festivities, with the entire town sharing a slice of the action.

Everyone from High Street restaurants and shopkeepers in the town, to nearby farmers and amateur chefs will be lending a ladle or two during the event, which aims to increase the awareness of local produce.

For those wishing to whet their appetite there will be the The Famous Arundel Processional Supper.

All the ingredients are gathered from within 10 miles of the town.

Participants will be able to have three different courses at three of the town’s restaurants, from canapés and mains at the Osteria and La Campania, both in High Street, to deserts at Gaskyns Café, in Queen Street.
