A HOTEL in Arundel is seeking planning permission to make a number of internal and external alterations to its building.

The Norfolk Arms Hotel, in the High Street, is seeking listed building consent for internal alterations, including the removal of telephone booths, replastering, removal of stud partitions, exposure of original features to fireplace and bar, new partitions and doors, new screen at first floor and subdivision of part of the third floor.

External alterations include the removal of doors wing, transom and wall lights and reinstatement of doors, as well as a new lantern, construction of glazed screens to carriage arch and new flooring, new fencing and trellis, repair of windows, frames and mullions, redecoration, replacement and repair of rain water goods and roofs repointing.
