Arundel showcase for arts and crafts

PAINTINGS, wildlife photography, handbags, scarves, cushions and even bird boxes will be among the arts and crafts on sale at the Norfolk Centre, Mill Road, Arundel, this weekend.

The Hirondelle Crafts event on Saturday and Sunday (March 2/3) will feature work exclusively by the stallholders, including former Littlehampton Gazette receptionist Carole Keen, who will be exhibiting her paintings, such as this view, “Sunset at Bosham” (pictured).

The group is also supporting charities by inviting them to stage displays at the sales to raise awareness of their work – the Brent Cross Wildlife Trust will have a stall this weekend.

Visitors are encouraged to ask the artists and crafts people about their work.

The event runs from 10am-5pm and admission is free. Tea, coffee and home-made cakes will be served.
