BOOK GROUPS: The June book is “Snowdrops’ by A. D. Milller. Set in Moscow, ‘Snowdrops’ is the name Russians give to the bodies which emerge into the light when the ice and snow thaw in the Spring. Some were drunks, some were homeless, some were murder victims. This is a novel of moral ambiguity, danger and uncertainty. The afternoon group will meet on June 26 at 2 p.m., whilst the evening group will meet on June 30, 8 p.m. at Ashburnham Place. If you would like to borrow the book or would like further information about either group, please contact Nicole on 894208 or Nicky on 892474.
