The Scarecrow/pumpkin party held at the Ashburnham Chapel on the October 27 was a huge success with 31+ children and their parents attending. A great time was had by all and the children played a wide variety of games. The bring and share tea turned into a banquet with a wide variety of food and everybody left the party feeling very full. The best dressed scarecrow was won by Reuben with a notice on his back saying “Buzz off birds” and sisters Sophie and Lucy jointly won the largest pumpkin competition and the smallest pumpkin was brought by Isaac.

Ashburnham Bonfire is to be held tonight, November 9, at Ashburnham Sports Field. The bonfire will be lit at 7pm. Adults £4 and children £2 (to include hot refreshments).
