Ninfield and Penhurst Parish Council will be meeting on March 28 at Ashburnham Sports pavilion, 6.30pm. All residents of both villages are invited to attend.

In their relentless pursuit of sporting perfection (after winning the recent bowling match against the WI), the MI men prepare for the fourth Ashburnham and Penhurst Golf championship this month. There is still time to enter and you don’t need any particular talent (it hasn’t stopped most of them for the last three years!) You don’t even need clubs and any inadequacies are shared as each gent is paired up to play as a team. Please consider whether you can give it a go... There is even a trophy for the winners of this one! Let Richard know if you are interested or if you would like additional information. Also, if you haven’t yet turned up at the Ash on the second Tuesday evening of the month, then DO try it out. It is a great way of getting to know more village folk. Please contact Richard 01424 893130
