n The next coffee morning is on Monday February 20 in the church hall, Ashburnham Place, 10.30am-noon. You are welcome to go along for a good friendly chat. For further information, please contact Tina on 01424 843728.

n Several people have expressed an interest in the Running Group organised by John French. As such there will be a meeting on Tuesday February 21 at 8pm. Chris and Cynthia Sinden (at Red Barn Thatch, opposite Thorndale) have invited us for pancakes and to discuss what form the group may take. n The Ashburnham and Penhurst Diamond Jubilee committee are holding a Quiz Night on the February 25, 7.30pm at Ashburnham Village Hall. Adults £6.50, children £3.50 (including supper).
