Award for company

After 11 months of gruelling preparation and a day's evaluation, Jt's Corporation has been awarded the Investors in People standard.

To reach the necessary level the firm worked to improve communications systems and the way the business should develop.

This involved working with everyone in the company to set targets and produce both business and training plans.

David Cleaton, South East Assessor said: 'The systems put in place at Jt's have proved very successful.

'The relatively fast journey to Investors In People recognition is a testament to the good foundations already in place.

'I found the company to be professional, organised and friendly.'

Managing director Harry Tucker, who set up the company 27 years ago said: 'This is a tremendous achievement for all involved.

'We have great team spirit at Jt's and this has been key to the success of the company.'

Jt's imports and sells garment such as t-shirts, poloshirts and fleeces to the promotional clothing and garment decoration industries.

The firm says it has built a firm reputation for quality and innovation.

Recent years have seen expansion into Europe with markets in Germany, Spain, Sweden and Benelux.

Jt's also operates Friday morning end-of-line sales for the general public from its Heathfield HQ.
