Award-winning photo shown at V & A

A Walberton man's photograph is going on show in a national museum.

Stephen Faber's underwater colour shot, called Strange Fish, earned a place at the V and A museum in London after he won a top prize.

He achieved a gold award from more than 700 entries in Mencap's countrywide photo and story competition.

The contest is open to people with a learning disability, their friends and families. Stephen chose a photo of a friend swimming for his entry.

He said: 'This is my friend Adrian.

'We both love swimming underwater and taking photos of each other with our underwater disposable cameras.'

Stephen is a resident of the CARE community in Eastergate Lane. His prize for his photo is a digital camera along with a preview of his photo in its pride of place in the V and A's link gallery.
