Fourteen-month-old Jenson Pashley was diagnosed with neuroblastoma – a rare cancer which only affects around 100 children in the UK each year – just weeks ago.

His first chemotherapy session was at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) on Boxing Day and he has a lengthy treatment programme ahead.

Jenson’s mum, Rachel, 22, of Westlake Gardens, Durrington, said: “We were really shocked and upset, like no-one can imagine (when his condition was diagnosed). You don’t know what to do with yourself.”

Rachel, and Jenson’s dad, Richard, set up an online fundraising page last Wednesday, which has already raised £1,644.

To make a donation, visit fundrazr.com and search ‘Jenson Fight Against Neuroblastoma’.
