Badger baiting concern at Rye
THERE are concerns that badger baiting may be taking place in the Rye area after a badly mauled badger was found this week near the cycle path that runs between Rye and Winchelsea.
A local woman discovered the badly injured animal, which was still alive and reported the incident to police and RSPCA. It later died. She said : “It was a really savage attack.”
