Bait collectors' van tyres slashed at Littlehampton

ALL four tyres on a van parked near Littlehampton seafront were slashed while its owners were gathering bait on the beach.

A man and his son returned from collecting fish bait early yesterday morning (Wednesday, April 14) to find all four tyres on their Mercedes van, parked in the East Beach car park, had been slashed.

The father, in his late 50s and the son, in his early 20, had been on the beach from about 4.45am and returned to the van just before 8.30am.
