Bar One - attack
AN off-duty member of staff received hospital treatment for cuts to the face after being "glassed" in a pub.
The head of Rother CID, Detective Inspector Owen Poplett, said the victim was treated for a two-inch cut to the cheek and a one-inch cut to the jaw as a result of last Thursday's incident at Bar One in Town Hall Square.
He said: "A man was arrested nearby and bailed pending a decision by the Crown Prosecution Service."
Both men are in their early twenties.
