Barbara opens up about family illnesses

A LIFELONG business woman and a mother of two adult sons has written a book about her family’s experiences with life-threatening illnesses.

Barbara Comiskey’s first book, entitled To Life, was published on April 1. The autobiography documents Barbara’s battle with breast cancer after she was diagnosed four years ago, her eldest son Reuben’s fight with lymphoma, aged just 17, and her husband Victor’s on-going health issues following a stroke 22 years ago.
