LOOKING FORWARD: Barcombe Bowling Club has now produced their fixture list for the 2016 season. It will start with an Open Afternoon on Sunday April 17, followed by an evening session on Monday April 25. More details in the March edition. The fundraising for the club will, this year, be based on The Health Lottery bonus ball. There are still a few numbers available and for just £1 a week there is a prize of £25 for the lucky number. BARCOMBE CINEMA: The Lady in the Van (cert 12A), written by Alan Bennett and starring Maggie Smith will be shown on Friday, February 5, in Barcombe Village Hall. The film will begin at 7.30pm with an interval for coffee/tea, home-made cakes and a raffle. The bar will open at 7pm for pre-performance drinks and again in the interval. Tickets £6 each from Barcombe Stores and Post Office or some may be available at the door.
