FREE CAKES: In St Francis on Tuesday, 3pm to 5pm. Come along for a chat and good company.

SHORT MAT BOWLS: Away to Herstmonceux a good 2-2 draw. One triple win by one point and a doubles win by four points.

WALK: Sunday, December 9, Barcombe Walking Group meet at 2pm from East Croft, Spithurst Road for a short walk in Spithurst, followed by mulled wine and mince pies. Claire 01273 400920.

NEW CHEF: New chef at the pub, Sean Long, a caterer for over 20 years. Uses locally sourced fresh ingredients and I have had a several good comments about the food.
