Barnham police sergeant charged with child sex offences
A POLICE sergeant from Barnham has appeared in court charged with two counts of touching a 12-year-old girl.
Mick Defries, 58, a police sergeant with British Transport Police, appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Monday November 18) charged with two counts of sexual touching.
The charges relate to an allegation of historic sexual touching against a 12-year-old girl.
Defries was remanded in custody to appear at Lewes Crown Court on 12 December.
