Battle Abbey shoe appeal
Father Christmas has been given a helping hand this year by children at Battle Abbey prep school.
They have been taking part in an appeal to enusre that disadvantaged children in other countires, who do not know what it is to receive a Christmas present, do not go without one this year.
Pupils have wrapped shoe boxes with Christmas paper and filled them with gifts. The great pile of boxes was then collected, and will be distributed, by the Operation Christmas Child charity, and youngsters and staff hope they will bring joy this Christmas to other young lives.
