Battle crime round-up

Here is this week's round-up of crimes committed in the Battle area.

FOUR vehicles were damaged while parked in Station Approach in Battle on August 1.

The wing mirrors had been knocked off the vehicles.

The incident is being investigated by British Transport Police.

A BOTTOM pane of glass was broken on the back door of a property in East View Terrace, Sedlescombe, on August 1.

A THIEF has stolen 120 partridges from a pen in Station Road, Hurst Green.

The birds, worth around 200, were stolen within a one month period.

It is believed a man was spotted on the site with two dogs and a bag.

The thefts were reported on August 2 and police enquiries are continuing.

VANDALS damaged a fence in Church Lane, Salehurst, before entering nearby woodland.
