Battle firefighters scrub up well

BATTLE Fire Station was transformed into a car wash on Saturday, all in aid of The Fire Fighters Charity.

A seemingly endless queue of cars lined up to be scrubbed down, with firefighters busy for much of the day.

Firefighter Clive York said: “There were too many cars to count.

“We raised £355.51, so it was a very successful car wash for our station.”
