Battle hosts union of two acclaimed artists

Joining forces had been muted for many years by both artists but it took the intervention of Saffron Gallery on Battle High Street to ultimately bring the two together. Launching tomorrow, Saturday 8th November, Earth & Blood features Dion Salvador Lloyd’s atmospheric oil paintings and Eve Shepherd’s emotive bronzes and unique ceramics.

Award winning sculptor Eve Shepherd was described as ‘unique in the world of modern sculptors’ by Professor Anthony Stone, former President of the Society of Portrait Sculptors. Despite her age, she has already been compared with Rodin, and is predicted to become “one of the greatest artists of our time.”
