Battle Royal British Legion Social Club is being reformed

Today (Friday) is Valentine’s Night at the Royal Oak in Whatlington, with an evening of music and comedy starting at 7.30pm.

There will be free admission, but those attending are asked to bring a raffle prize.

Quiz Nights will re-start, with the next on Wednesday February 26 at the Senlac Inn, Battle, starting at 8pm.

Teams of four, prize available for the best team name.

Kevin Regan, from Battle RBL, said: “We know many people miss the club, and we are determined to ensure the comradeship is maintained with regular events now being planned.”

“We are setting up our own website, so in addition to finding details in the Observer, you can find us on Facebook and the web!

“Details of future events will be well publicised.

“We look forward to welcoming friends old and new!”

The Branch meets every first Tuesday evening each month at the Senlac Inn from 7.30pm.
