Beautiful floral artturned heads atCrowhurst Hall

There were some eye-catching creations on display at Crowhurst Village Hall when Crowhurst and District Horticultural society held its third floral art demonstration evening.

Horticultural Society Chairman Mary Boorman said: “We had 17 people attend and local tutor and judge Ann Brookes took them through three beautiful displays related to our forthcoming flower show.

“Entries are due on August 8 for the Summer Show and September 19 for the Autumn Flower Show.

“The displays were stunning and the evening inspirational.

“The displays were raffled at the end of the evening to the delight of those who won them.

“If anyone would like schedules for the flower shows please download from our new website www.crowhursthorticultural.org.uk or contact Mary or Alan on 07870525441 .

“All are welcome to enter the flower shows.

“We also plan further lecture evenings in future on varying subjects related to horticulture which will be displayed on the website.
