Theft of oil: Please be aware of this crime if you have heating oil tanks. A fuel tank at a property in Horseshoe Lane, Beckley. Theft is believed to have taken place sometime between 19/10-22/10. If you saw anything suspicious in the area, or have any information. Please contact 101 and quote serial 1423 of 22/10

Sara Lee Trust: The Sara Lee Trust coffee tomorrow Saturday 15th November 10 till 12 at Beckley Village Hall. A number of organisations are having a table at the coffee morning, including the Horticultural Society. Beckley horticultural society: AGM on Monday 24th November in the beckley village centre at 7:30pm. new members always welcome, this will be followed by a social evening, Rons amazing quiz plus other competitions. Wine and nibbles will be available please bring a pen and paper!

Christmas Fair: Beckley Village Centre Sunday 30th November 10.00 to 14.00 Beckley Preschool and Northiam Nursery’s annual charity Christmas Fair is back, so come on down and get into that festive spirit. There will be a wide selection of locally produced crafts, gifts, raffle prizes and of course fun for all the children. The ever popular children’s room includes a Santas grotto, face painting, teddy tombola, games and more. Refreshments will be available all day, there is free parking and entry is 50p per adult, children go free. Contact: [email protected] Being a charity run Pre-school and so totally rely on fundraising events to raise money to buy new equipment , resources , go on trips etc We are in need of raffle prizes , children & adult tombola prizes & any unwanted , working Christmas decorations & lights . Rye Group WI: Carol Service in All Saints Church Beckley on Friday the 5th December at 7pm. with the wonderful Peasmarsh & District WI Choir. Everyone Welcome. Coffee & mince pies to follow the service. Please bring friends & family to this lovely traditional service. Donations will be divided between All Saints & Rye, Winchelsea & District Memorial Hospital.
