Don’t forget Jempsons Bus service. They run a daily bus service for customers without their own cars, the elderly and those with mobility problems, to the Peasmarsh Superstore.

The service runs through Beckley every Monday and Tuesday (once in the morning, then again in the afternoon) calling at the Rose & Crown then Four Oaks, the bus will conveniently stop anywhere if it is safe to do so in-between these points.

Your church yard needs you! They urgently need a number of other volunteers willing to use the tools provided or their own tools to cut the grass and manage the ever present weeds.

Beckley Buzzy Bees Toddler Group. They meet at the Beckley Village Hall, Every Wednesday morning from 9.15 to 11.15.Supported by the Playgroup and a qualified member of staff is on hand during the session to assist with the organisation and to coordinate events. Speakers are regularly arranged and a “healthy snack time” is part of the session. The group offers a friendly supportive atmosphere to all visitors for just £2.00 a session (to cover running costs) everyone is welcome throughout the morning and more details can be obtained from Julie on the Playgroup phone numbers or by e-mail at [email protected]

Bargains in Beckley. Setup for locals to sell items they no longer need and want to sell, if you are looking for something why not try posting a wanted post. No selling fees like most internet sites or local free papers. Just go on face book and enter Bargains in Beckley and join this free group we have over 105 members.

Dog fouling isn’t just unpleasant, it’s illegal. Dog owners have a responsibility to clear up after their pets, those that don’t can face fines of up to £1,000.If you would like to make a dog fouling complaint please phone 01424 787000 if you don’t make this call they will keep letting their dogs do it.

Beckley Preschool aim to provide activities and equipment in a relaxed and happy atmosphere so that children will progress in all areas of development and become independent in preparation for school. Beckley Village Centre is available to hire. By people hiring and supporting fund raising events put on by the hall committee it will keep the hiring costs down.
